    it is a shame and I completely agree with your post OP. Many boxers sacrifice alot by making a living fighting..
    For example brain injuries such as strokes and haemorrhages have happened in my immediate family and i box ameteur. But the thought of becoming pro and risking my brain like that is ludicrous but some people have no other alternatives. Nobody really knows what is happening in the fighters brain

    As a young kid coming on ESB I used to be as bad as the rest for dissing boxers. Honestly though after doing the sport, you realise just how good the top guys are and just how hard they work.
