Yep, you'd think they'd let the 2 months drop to keep a customer for the longer term.

I know, the contract is between me and Boxnation and Boxnation only ( Not Sky,Virgin or Paywizard ) I don't see the hardship in cutting off the feed to the Sky box and supplying it to my TiVo box instead ? Boxnation would have still been paid a tenner a month and I'd have the channel !

As I keep saying I was happy with Boxnation and was happy to keep it ! All I did was leave Sky and go to Virgin Media cause I wanted TiVo ! TBH I didn't think it would be a problem I just thought they would supply me the channel on Virgin instead ?

Yeah it is another Boxnation stitch up and some of the responses on here have been nothing short of ridiculous.

Should be a simple process of transfering from one to another and if Boxnation can t work with both providers to do that then once again their loss, there are going to be people changing providers all the time there is no need to tie people into a contact for a TV channel. FFS!

BoxNation should probably have been willing to be more flexible. (But I'm not sure they technically did anything wrong.)

If you were to just cancel on Sky and then resubscribe without bothering to inform them maybe you would have got away with it. I doubt they are going to take action against you over £20.

I see your point. It's not like he just wanted out of his contract, he wanted to keep the service but change to another platform. I don't see how he deserves the abuse he's getting here - it's a pretty simple, logical attitude.

Imagine if you were with Talk Talk for your broadband and you moved house. Instead of swapping over your contract to the new address and new line, they said you'd need a new contract and to continue paying your old one. You'd be furious, and rightly so.

Shouldn't it only be 1 month? When BoxNation started up they had a "6 months for the price of 5" offer.
