If Pavlik reads that he could lose i think his staff infection will flare up and he will have to cancel the fight .Like he did with Williams

The minute Martinez feels Kelly's power, his game plan will change, it is IF Martinez will have a back up plan to alter his fighting style that predicts the outcome of the fight. Pavlik will use his superior jab, size and power to slow Martinez down.
    KP referee stoppage round 10.

Pavlik needs to move up if 160 is troubling him so much. It's a shame after one loss people say he's "done" but it's not like he's in JT's position now so let's see how Martinez/Pavlik ends up first before calling him done. This fight is like a Last Hurrah for Pavlik to restore his career and I see him knocking out Martinez. SM is not as slick as people make him out to be and like previously stated he fades and can get hit often. Not a good combonation when facing a pressure fighter. I wouldn't bet on this fight too risky. I'm going to duck doing that to save some vcash.

Well if you mean clueless in that Pavlik cancelled twice on Williams because of an infection that should clear up quickly with the use of antibiotics then i take your point
After Williams signed for the Martinez fight then how long after did Kelly sign for his fight against a much less rated opponent? That life threatening infection cleared up pretty quick
Since his fight with Hopkins who has he fought of note?

Maybe you should read the news next time. The infection was gone, the hand just couldn't move. Pavlik fought Espino on a 4-week training camp.

Agreed, why is Pavlik cherry-picking these bums? He should be fighting more Mahir Orals and Lajuan Simons.

If the infection was gone then he should have fought Williams .I take it you know nothing about staff /staph infections
Read the news ..yes ..so the infection went but the hand couldnt move until after Williams signed for another fight..well thought out!!
Espino rated the same as Williams?

Listen you piece of sh!t, I don't know who you were before you created a 2nd account, but that situation can be easily explained.

He had the infection which affected his hand. He tried to get the PW fight delayed for a 2nd time. PW refused to delay it again, started demanding absurd purse breaks, and took the Martinez fight instead. KP went along with his original plan to fight not-too-long after the originally planned date. He wanted more time to properly prepare for Paul Williams than he thought he needed for Miguel ****ing Espino. Big surprise? No, it's common ****ing sense.

What transpired after that? Williams found himself in a war with Martinez, where he was lucky to earn a SD through "volume of punches". PW managed to sell a ballroom full of people in AC. Pavlik, who sells out Boardwalk Hall when he's in town, easily blasted his way through Espino as expected. Then he settled for a Martinez fight when Williams people ran **** scared, and picked the "dangerous" Kermit Cintron for his next HBO showcase. I guess Carlos Quintana wasn't interested in completing a trilogy.

That 'thing' made my ignore list in 4 posts. Maybe it is an alt, don't know, don't care. EVERYTHING has been laid out here today and I wasn't wasting my time starting back at the beginning. Anyone who doesn't know the facts by now is ignorant by choice which is the same thing as 'working at being stupid'.

Also, don't quote the 'dangerous'. There is a reason Paul's people haven't signed the fight yet. After the mistakes he made against Martinez they may be afraid to put him in with someone of Cintron's caliber now. Paul may need a comeback fight after that 'win'.

I just read two good interviews on Fan House. One with KP and one with Sergio. There's irony in the air! Martinez has boldly proclaimed that he will knock Pavlik out. Kelly sounds like he is planning to box Sergio's ears off. How's that for ass backwards?

Martinez is pretty sure of himself. I guess I'll bet my entire net worth on a Sergio KO in the 10th. :yep

But not against Kelly though. :nut
