This guy they brought in for him, Raul Pinzon, doesnt look even a little bit in shape. His resume is pathetic. Good to see Fernando Guerrero being matched tougher against a proven veteran in Midnight Stalker Walker. Looking forward to these fights tonight

Porter didn't look too special in his last performance.

Porter looked pretty unimpressive last time out.

I agree with the Guerreo-Walker match up. Walker is a solid test and it should be a pretty good fight. I don't know anything about Pinzon but his resume is weak. Porter didn't impress on ESPN several months ago so his people may be giving him an easy one here.

Yea, I was disappointed with his last opponent. Hopefully it was a hiccup, because the boy can fight and his A game would be great for boxing.

He almost beat Ricardo Torres, FWIW. But other than that, yeah, his resume is weak.

It's definitely a fight designed for Porter to look good. Also, Porter keeps cutting weight, so that's probably affecting his performance some. He's coming in at 150 tonight, and down to welterweight his next fight. Once his body adjusts to welterweight, his performance should improve a bit. He's basically in exactly the same boat as Andre Berto was when he went pro, and he's pretty damn similar to Berto in a lot of other ways as well.
