Another classic argument:would Douglas lost the Tokyo bout if he was counted normally?

    I've been tired of trying to prove people Douglas just won fair and square...
    If you look on his facial expression at the time of the down, Douglas looks more angry than rocked,then the ref also counts Douglas the same time as Mike,and it's a 10 count,not a 10 second count...

    I think 99% of folks that watched it knew he was OK and simply watching the ref's count like he should. No controversy except for Don King being a cry baby.

    at best it would be a lucky punch plus a premature stoppage and a possible rematch... It's really very simple - Douglas dominated Tyson in every respect, he was much better that night...
    This fight in context was no more surprising than the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou fight. It's just that one boxer took her seriously and the other didn't.

    Pretty much this Douglas was coherent and simply waited for the referees count wisely if the referee had counted quicker Douglas would've just got up sooner.

    To me he was just juicing the count.

    He still won fair and square under the rules of boxing, and thats what matters.
