What do you guys think about this? http://philboxing.com/news/columns.php?aid=609&id=44186 --edited--(added video and recent report) here's a video of him showing those wounds: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pSYPxDcdrY[/ame] and here's a recent report: http://philboxing.com/news/story-44242.html --------------------------------------------------- http://www.neobux.com/?r=esrotak
Damn, that sucks... Looking at the angle of the cuts though, how would the gloves do the scratches at these angles? If the boxer has his hands up, the gloves would have to hit the arms in a downwards angle... Looks strange to me... Or if he has his elbow back, how do you inflict the wound; punch that far back to the arm? Maybe from holding? This content is protected As to inserting an object in the glove's tape... I don't know... I guess definitely something to look out for... Were these cuts not apparent during the match? Quite weird...
He prob'ly got those from clinching. The time the other guy pulled his arm back after clinching seems to do it. If those were from punches, they should be longer that those atleast. Also it seems to appear just on his right arm, nothing on the face so definitely not from punches.
If cuts are just on the arms ,its questionable I have to see how the fighters face look otherwise there's not enough evidence for me to judge this this could be anyones arm if you have cuts on your arm believe me you have cuts elsewhere. This could also be from the ropes possible.

I know...I even thought they were just scratches but focusing on pic and watching the video shows some deep cuts.
Trainers and boxers who put plaster in the wraps or sharp objects in the gloves need to be banned from the sport for life. As well as MMA and other combat sports. Sure there is a certain risk that is taken in boxing/MMA. This dose not mean that extra risk is part of the game. I don't normally support zero tolerance. In this case I do. Even if the boxer dose not know. First of all I find that highly unlikely. However the boxer is the boss. He is responsible for everything his team dose in regards to the fight. Also please don't give me that bull **** that he has a right to make a living. Perhaps he dose but not in boxing. Let them find "real" jobs like the rest of us.
