Poor comparison. Stevenson holding the belt hostage against mediocrities is far closer.

Bivols 12th fight as opposed to Deonkey fighting a shot to **** bloboid in his 39th fight. You're absolutely right, there is no comparison

Yes and Wilder's second fight against the fat blob Stiverne was his 6th (!) title defense. All 5 opponents before him were similar no hopers as well. If Bivol will fight 5 bums in a row you can criticize him, but right now you are just being a hypocrite.

There is no hype train. Not even the most deluded of Deontay's fans think he's legit. Everyone knows his 'career' is entirely manufactured.

Bivol didn't have a legitimate contender pull out.

Dude, how am I being a hypocrite? The man fought HIS MANDATORY CONTENDER. If he does not fight Stiverne he gets stripped. He's already paid the man TWICE to get a better fight. They failed drug tests.

If Wilder does not fight Stiverene he gets stripped.

If Bivol does not fight Broadhurst he gets stripped.

If Golovkin does not fight Wade he gets stripped.

All three suck, what's the difference?

Deontay Wilder does not control his opponents taking steroids, they got a list of **** they they signed the contract they could not take. That's not his problem.

    And before we get into it, I don't GIVE A **** if it's %1 or .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

They knew what was illegal. that's that.

Broadhurst was rated number 12 in his own body's rankings, for some reason they decided to skip a whole lot of guys to get to Broadhurst.

That's not the fighter's fault. I don't hold it against him.

You seem to ignore Wilder's other championship fights... His voluntary defenses were also awful, that's why he is criticized. WBC should also get flak, they are corrupt scumbags, not only they didn't suspend Stiverne after he tested positive for methylhexaneamine (a stuff that was used by a Jamaican runner who was stripped off his Olympic gold medal), they actually elevated Stiverne to mandatory status even though he beat no one in the past 2 years. Since Stiverne at this stage is much worse than Ortiz, it is fair to assume that Wilder is protected by WBC...

Bivol was willing to fight Badou Jack, Jack pulled out because he aimed for Stevenson. Was Wilder willing to fight Ortiz? Ortiz is still ranked by WBC. Will Wilder fight him next?

Truly amazing win for Wilder. This should propel him into the top 100 heavyweights of all time at least.
