I've been following boxing since the first ali-frazier fight. You forgot to mention that before mayweather's retirement he was lured by arum to fight margo for 8 million US dollars, but who did he fight instead? yes baldo.

Void's ref taking a point away from Hatton for hitting the ropes by accident. I rest my case.

Baldomir who was the linear Welterweight Champion????

Floyd made in excess of 10 million for that fight plus gained
    ~ WBC welterweight title ~

~ IBO International Boxing Organisation welterweight title ~
~ International Boxing Association welterweight title ~

Not a bad deal if you ask me ..........

For someone that claims to have watched boxing since Ali/Frazier to be THAT clueless is disturbing. He turned down a fight with Margarito for $8million and the WBOgus title to fight Baldomir for $8million and the WBC/Lineal titles. Margarito coming off a win over Cintron and Manuel Gomez is better than Baldomir coming a win over undisputed champion Zab Judah and Arturro Gatti?. By the way, the offer from Arum was exposed to be $7million, might want to do some more research "legendary" fan.

I guess you thought you made a point huh? Of course, as usual you don't even tackle what I said or replied to. Why the **** even quote me Scar?

I don't even know who the **** you are talking about. Mayweather? The guy who claimed to be the best WW in the world when Margarito challenged him? Yeah...you made a GREAT point Scar. :patsch Hence the FAIL. I see you are STILL trying to stick it to me? Get over it dude...

Can't be bothered with research and btw, how much did money may received against the so called lineal champ baldomir who happened to be the perceived weakest WW champ during that time?

"Disagree with me and you FAIL!!!", that's the motive it seems.

Which Margarito?, the one who's biggest win at the time was Manuel Gomez and Kermit Cintron?, the same Margarito who wasn't rated #1?, the same Margarito who was in a division with a unified champion for years?, that Margarito?, makes sense alright.

Of course, Margarito making a LIVING calling out smaller fighters is OKAY with you yet Mayweather who made a career fighting bigger opponents picks Marquez, a smaller guy, for his next fight after 2 years off is a coward's move.

Double standards at its best in ALL your posts regarding this topic and it never gets old.

I just told you how much he received, $8million, even more than the $7 million Arum offered. On top of all the PPV did $350k PPV buys(isn't that what Morales/Pacquiao made?), Mayweather got the lineal/WBC title and was recognized #1 officially at welterweight. Please tell me what he would have gained fighting/beating Margarito back then. :good

If you didn't bother doing research I suggest you don't involve yourself in the discussion with zero knowledge as it's a troll approach. I'm as big a fan of Pacman as you are and you won't find me throwing comments about the guy coming straight out of my ass with zero information to back it up, we can have a very nice discussion similar to that regarding the David Diaz fight, if you know what I mean.

I would love to see Void fight on neutral territory for a change with a neutral referee, judges, commentators, etc., but that will never happen.
