Sorry I miss that one scar but I can't believe that he received that much against baldo. $8 million? I thought he received $4million tops plus the recognition of being the lineal champ against that tough argentinian fighter, do you have a link to that?

Sorry scar but I do read and watch fights but don't have enough time to memorize how much each fighter received and I simply throw out things from my memories which sometimes fail ad not from some notebooks I keep on my pockets to back up my arguments if you know what I'm saying. I also don't know what you mean by that diaz fight, I have totally forgotten about it if we ever have a discussion.

It's all good brother, I apologize if I sounded harsh in any way. Yeah the Baldomir fight made him $8million and gave him the lineal title with the WBC since when Baldomir fought Judah, Judah had the WBC/WBA/IBF titles which was obtained from Spinks who won it from Mayorga who beat Forrest who beat Mosley who beat DLH and so on. Only reason behind it being for the WBC and only the WBC is because Baldomir didn't pay sanctioning fees for the other belts so they automatically became vacant(IBF/WBA).

Here are some links that mention the amount of money made.

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/boxing-news/Mayweather-Baldomir.php

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2650377

More can be found by doing a simple google search.

Here's a link exposing Arum's offer as $7million for the Margarito fight.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2420382

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Thanks man, I'm sure I have read somewhere that arum offered 8million and this is the first time I read about this espn account. Funny but were suppose to talk about so called double standard but end up talking about fight purses like we will earn something from it lol.

What's your stand again re double standard?

Dude, Judah fought Pineda 1 month after he tko Spinks to win the undisputed welterweight championship. You going to tell me Judah should have no problem with Pineda with only training like 2 weeks to prepare? Pineda is a bum no doubt but only 1 month after he won the biggest fight of his career? That arguement you just did is terrible.

We don't have to earn some of it to discuss it. These things play a major role in boxing anyway as they are the sole reason behind certain fights happening and ones not happening. Don't believe everything promoters say, especially not Arum who has a history for lying and even admitting to it.

Who gives a **** if it's true Pac is ducking Mosley. At least up until now Pacquiao has pretty much fought fighters people wanted him to fight, unlike Mayweather who always picks the weakest links. Now you know why people always **** on the Floyd. For all the **** he talks about being the best we sure as hell don't see him fighting the best. He's arrogant and his mouth speaks louder than his in ring results, as you can see this can be a problem and does put off many fans of the sport.

Pacquiao didn't beat anybody worth a damn from 106 up to 122 pounds. If he fought somebody worth a damn, many would have give pacquiao a great chance to beat Barrera in the first fight. Duran started boxing at 118 or 115 pounds and he fought in his prime all the way to ww and beat one the best fighters in Leonard while Pacquiao went all the way up to ww to beat a zombie weight drain past his prime de la hoya.

LOL yeah I know Arum is a self confessed liar specially if he's not under oath.

Money almost dictates fights nowadays which is the reason why some fights we want to see may not happen and that's the reality.

Exactly, it's all about the $$$$, can't really blame them man it's their job. Would you continue working if you weren't getting paid for it?, that's how it goes and these guys want to secure their lives and lives of their children if something goes wrong. In the end when these guys get in the ring they know deep inside that not making it out alive is very possible.

Pacquiao is an 140 pound fighter... Mayweather resides in the division in which Mosley also resides in.

    Figure it out NOOOB

Isn't Mosley the one desperately trying to get a fight with Pacquiao lately?

So in that case he should come down to 140 to fight Pac.
