Another fatality..

    :ohno And Hugo Santillan died after a fight also sanctioned by the WBC... :shocked: So, it's two deaths in one week not just for boxing in general but for one boxing organisation in particular...

    Perhaps Boxing should be reviewed. Less rounds (Max 8) or something.

    Very sad but this is a sport where you try to get in to the best shape you can get in to in order to try and hit someone in the head to try and render them unconscious

    It's bee a though month for boxing.

    My mind is starting to pay a lot more attention to these deaths. The mainstream boxing news sites don't even seem to report every death. A lot of amateurs have passed away as well over the past 12-18 months, as well as active and retired pros.

    Absolutely devastating to hear.
    RIP both the fighters.

    This is why you don’t play boxing...(not saying these two guys didn’t take it seriously, but anyone who’s going to start boxing better know the implications and consequences of this sport and to us the fans too, this is something that happens in this brutal sport which unfortunately, is also the sport I love...)
