The problem with Louis is we've seen him dropped by the likes of Galento, and Buddy, who simply weren't very good at all. Foreman was better in every single aspect than both of them.
Frazier being referred to as chinny left me too bewildered to go on, but the Tua perception on this forum is off the charts.
Idk it's clear to me on top of Foreman's obvious confidence issues, Clancy tried to change Foreman's style, to clean it up and make him more technical which on paper was a good idea but made him an overall inferior fighter. He tried to fix Foreman's natural gait, and alter his body mechanics to be more textbook and made Foreman bring his feet to close together which took away a considerable amount of Foreman's power. His uppercut was "crooked" if that makes any sense, and his jab while it still looked good, wasn't the punishing weapon it was before. He threw it while standing still, as opposed to walking behind it, putting his weight into it. I don't think Lyle would've given a '73-'74 Foreman nearly as hard of a time, nor do I think a shot Frazier lasts anywhere near five rounds against the Foreman he faced the first time.
depends of if they come up with the same game plan as Ali. Holmes may win if he does, but will he? Could see Holmes hitting the deck as well
We've also how quickly he always recovers and how incredibly dangerous he is as soon as he comes off the floor or is hurt. It's times like those he could pole axe you. Max Baer put some serious blows on him and seconds later was struggling to survive and clamming up. Foreman's certainly a chance but so is Joe.
He's chinny compared to Tua Except of course This content is protected Cool story bro! Tell us about Forteman and the calf again. I hear Snow White was the strongest gal in the land of the Little People
You're just trolling at this point because you can't refute my argument. I'll address the 2 points you actually made. Patterson wasn't chinny either, or he wouldn't have made it as far as he did in the first place. The majority of his knockdowns were from him being off balance or times when he took a knee to catch a breath. Only two men who put him on the canvas actually kept him there and won. Ingemar Johannson in one of three fights and Sonny ****ing Liston. "He's chinny compared to Tua" I'm not so sure Tua could've taken those punches considering Byrd of all people doubled him over with a body punch. Of course he wouldn't have to take those punches because he'd **** himself once he tasted his power, go into a shell, and would be to terrified to actually throw anything like he was against Lewis. But for argument's sake let's say he's more durable than Frazier. Chuvalo had excellent durability, likely more than Tua himself and that sure did him wonders against a green Foreaman.
Chuvalo was stopped by the two biggest punchers he faced. What massive hitters did he face aside from Frazier and Foreman? His durability can't be considered proven to the extent of someone who actually faced big hitters without getting kayoed like Usyk or Mercer. Nobody has brought up Breidis, potentially a good pick. Maybe Zhang
Your argument was refuted. Interesting take. I wonder how this is going to work out for you later in this discussion? "He's chinny compared to Tua" Foreman couldn't even KO Levi Forte which proves he didn't have the power to hurt Tua of all people. Myself, I think once Foreman tasted Tua's power, he'd immediately crumble and get knocked out like he did against light-hitting Ali. Using your kind of Patterson logic, Chuvalo could not have had excellent durability because he was knocked out by a green Foreman.
Been giving this one some more thought. 60s Ali would have done what the 70s one said he was going to and boxed his head off. Holyfield prime...could George knock him out, does he have the heart to match Evander's? He doesn't have the engine.. late rounds ko for Vander. Vitali? Would Vitali just beat him up I wonder. Big, strong, raw, woukd be a hell of a fight that could go either way. I think prime Liston ruins George. Ruins him. ....and my last curveball...would prime, fearless, seek and destroy Tyson have the same fate as Frazier? Or could he handle the power, would he get inside the beast and break him down? Another lip smacking contest.... pick em?
You refuted approximately 2 of my points and responded to trolling with the rest. That's a strawman if I've ever seen one. We were arguing about his durability in general not relative to Tua. Fair enough. Tua couldn't even KO the 6-14-2 Krishna Wainwright. He's no chance to hurt Foreman. Just like he crumbled against Lyle, Frazier, Briggs, Cooney among others, all of whom hit much harder than Ali. What the **** are you on about now?
The Lyle fight is hardly a plus for Foreman given he was dropped multiple times and was close to being knocked out. Why would anyone think to cite that as proof of Foremans chin? Cooney was past it inactive and was taken out before he could land much
