For months, going into years, several of us have pointed out that Amir Khan has a glass chin, just like a few of us did with Fraudley before him. The record littered with carefully chosen light-hitting opponents specifically selected because of their low KO percentages, the knockdowns against guys who could barely break an egg. It was OBVIOUS this guy couldn't take a punch and his management KNEW it! :nod And yet, there were naysayers who questioned the obvious suspect nature of Khan's chin. They made the usual excuses - well, fighters sometimes get knocked down early in their career and then rebound. Some - who clearly don't know boxing history - even suggested that ALL fighters are matched with guys with low KO percentages early in their careers. Well, guess what? The chin experts have been proven RIGHT, again. The hype job got starched in a round, as many of said would happen as soon as he faced anyone halfway decent who could hit. It is no ACCIDENT that Khan got laid out cold by the first fighter he has ever faced with a good KO percentage. That's WHY his management padded his record with the light hittters. And yet, we are STILL hearing some offer the absurd excuse - "well that punch would've KOd anyone" that are ALWAYS offered when a glass jaw shatters. Still the boxing fans who don't recognize the importance of a solid chin make excuses! No, boxing fans, when a fighter gets starched, it's because they don't take a good punch. Otherwise they would have remained conscious! And Amir Khan has proven this boxing truism right again - PUNCH RESISTANCE is THE most important factor in boxing!!!:yep
Zakman, who is the best fighter in boxing (history or modern day take your pick) that made it and did well / decently with a shaky chin and didn't just fight tomato cans?
Yeah! Boomboom Bautista's bound to go down the rankings of the china chinned top 10 list. :yep Khan was positively ravaged.
The whole world knew he had a questionable chin, I have honestly never read a single report or came across a single person who stated differently.

There were quite a few people who disputed it, even AFTER the KDs in the Limond and Gomez fights. There were many who argued that the fact that his handlers put him in with light-hitters meant nothing. And there are STILL people out there saying **** like "that punch woulda KOd anybody." :nut Some boxing fans STILL don't get the importance of punch resistance, no matter how many of these glass-jawed hype jobs get starched. atschThat's alright, we'll keep reminding 'em. Next up on the "to be exposed" list: David Haye! :yep
too right. amazing to think there were some people trying to saying his chin was alright up until last night. That must shut up now. I was one of those saying from day 1 that he was a glass chinned hypejob....the whole thing was sickening and the sad thing is he's already a very rich guy the horrible little *******.
God your self-righteous drivel is getting rather old. Amir Khan has a dodgy chin! You heard it from Zakman first! Not Several of us lol! Several hundred? Several thousand? Practically the whole ****ing world knew his whiskers were ****. I personally won a stack of cash on the fight last night and I know a bunch of other people who did also. Give it a rest mate, please? It really looks quite, well, sad to be honest.
