Another Holyfield matchup: Morrison

Morrison surely has a chance.

I think Morrison would afford himself an opportunity to brawl with his size, strength and decent boxing ability. The battle of the jabs would be close and I think Evander would fancy his chances in a dogfight so he'd be willing.

Evander has used this strategy vs. so many big punchers and I've really never seen him break down. Foreman, Tyson, Bowe, Qawi, Cooper. Even though Bowe was just more precise infighting wise, it was a hell of a feat to see Holyfield take him to deep waters. Only Bowe (and Qawi/Cooper for spells) was really able to brawl on even terms and it cost him his prime. I think that's where Morrison would fall short.

But if Tommy stacks up 3 decent left hooks, Holyfield will fall down, and Tommy was a finisher with fast hands. It would be a fun fight, I like this thread a lot, I'm playing the fight out in my mind.

 

Imagine Tommy in a dog fight with Evander, and Evander had the ability to drag everyone into one (or get dragged by everyone into one).................Tommy's gonna get dog walked

 

Holyfield ends it in 5.
