Just fighting 6 rounders keep busy fights really mate. He was originalyl supposed to fight John O'Donnell on the Froch/Pascal card in a british title eliminator but got flu and pulled out, then was supposed to fight Adan Amar this weekend (which was on boxrec and BBN listed still up until a few days ago, probably what you saw) but thats been shelved, hopefully he'll get this eliminator soon. Looking at being next up in April, probably on the Kell Brook/Mark Lloyd friday fight night show at Wolverhampton, Apr 25th. Havent seen too much of McCloskey but hearing very good things (unfortunately lol for Deano). Be great for Wolverhampton if theres an upset tonight

Thanks for the info, Mutleys not getting any younger, do you think he can get back to the form he was showing a few years ago? :good, Nice Work Big Ears.
I'd like to think so mate but if i'm honest I'm not so sure. Mutleys been in some wars that might have took it out of him, and in the last few times I've seen him has looked less sharp, although I'm hoping thats just because he was fighting 6 round keep busy fights and it was a lack of motivation thing. Interestingly mate just read in yesterdays Boxing News that apparently Sky might have rejected the Kell Brook Vs Mark Lloyd titile defence and that Lloyd's 1st Team stablemate Mutley could get the shot at Brook. Cheers BigEars had only seen Lynes fight and lastnight until those, future looks very good for McCloskey!
