In addition to the obvious Taylor-Pavlik match up, we have Berto versus Estrada. Estrada is all wrong for Berto in my opinion and has the power to crack Berto's evident glass chin.

Pressure-relentlessness-decent skills-moderate power + Enough to beat Berto, who is an overrated hype job.

    Anyone else picking Estrada?

Berto won't take chances with Estrada like he did Rivera.

He'll win a comfortable decision over Estrada.

i thought about taking estrada in this fight due to Bertos performance last time out. but i still don't think the flash knockdown is enough to warrant glass jaw or any other term for berto. he got caught coming in and with a clean punch. he managed to get his legs back and still win the fight.

Plus he still has the power to keep anyone honest. Like i said i thought Estrada pulling off the upset and still think he'll give a great account of himself in this fight and show that he isn't out of his league but ultimately Berto should win a UD.

and for the record I'm going with Pavlik tonight.

I dont think Berto is anything at all - but he wont loose to Estrada imho. He will win by KO - but the next time he steps up in competition I see him loosing. From what Ive sen his defence is poor.

He seems stiff too - I would bet on Quintana to outbox him

Estrada is tough... thats about it. He doesnt have great offensive skills, he doesnt have great defensive skills. He just pressures and thats about it. I didn't see him hurt either Cintron or Mosley once. He is a b-level fighter who can last 12 rounds but is not good enough to win against someone with more athleticism and offensive skills. I say he looses by KO or UD.

I honestly don't see Berto losing. He might get knocked down at some point, and Estrada will be a stiff test, but he doesn't have enough power to flat knock out Berto, and he's not skilled enough to outbox him (i.e. Berto's speed negates his boxing ability). This step up might be too soon for Berto, IMHO, as he has a lot of work to do on his defense, but I don't think he loses this one.

Call me brainwashed, but I say Berto close UD, Taylor MD. Not confident enough in either to put money down though.
