Miller should be fighting Kuzmin and Price should get Adamek.
    Much better fights.

Massive Adamek fan here but was done 5 years ago.

Miller is a fraud forte ttaaking this fight....Hearn just wants to keep him relevant for the upcoming AJ fight.

    Bingo.

Hearn needs full arenas and passionate fans to provide the backdro to his shows.

Also, at the risk of shattering long held illusions, not every fight will be 50/50, much as we as fans would want that. Boxing is a balance of conflicting interests from promoters, managers, fans and the fighters themselves. Some fights are about laying the groundwork for future events, some are about boxers seeking to build experience and some are keep busy, keep the money rolling in exercises. Guess we can file this one under the latter.

This ^^^^, all roads lead to AJ for Hearn. You can see it now after Povetkin - DW2 and Miller. Ties up the next 18 months nicely.

    Ugh.

They call it DAZN because these fighters are going to be staying at a Days Inn.

Who would pay a streaming fee to see this garb?

THE reason I don't like him, especially considering how much the tub of lard talks.

Forget a top ten guy, Miller doesn't even have a single undefeated guy on his resume. They're all journeymen and over the hill former fringe contenders. Comfortably among the worst cherry pickers in the entire sport.

Despite the optics, Adamek is ranked in the top 15 by Boxrec (only 8 places below Miller), who I rate much more than Internet forum users. That is the highest ranked opponent Miller would have fought.

Adamek never had no business being up at HW and he's been shot to bits for a long time now. Even glass-jawed trash like Eric Molina and Szpilka beat him, both of whom are absolutely woeful and packing enough glass in their frail old lady mandible sections to fill up every bottle bank on Earth.

Awful fight totally worthy of criticism. Preferring DAZN to fail rather than deliver good fights is a weird thing though. I don't like Al Haymon but was hoping PBC would do something good purely from a fight fans perspective.

I fear for Adamek in this match. Miller will probably show up at 350 lbs. The size difference is such that Adamek will go straight into Miller's orbit and will be named a moon in our solar system.

**** fight but Rome wasn't built in a day. I think Hearn will come good with Dazn.

I was just looking at there Italian content UNREAL! Nearly every sport under the sun on Italian Dazn. Not sure if it's the same 9.99 price but if Dazn start signing up content similar to the Italian Dazn I see it being successful in America. Which will have a knock effect with the boxing!!

That's a bit like watching a below average episode of Narcos and cancelling your netflix subscription. We still haven't seen what the initial DAZN offering is going to be but we already know that:

    a) they have WBSS, which looks very good indeed if you're a boxing purist
    b) they have other sports lined up other than boxing
    c) they have some fighters that some people in the US are interested in
    d) there will be more announced in days to come
    e) it's likely the first month is free

All of which should be sufficient to make thoughtful observers hang fire on condemning a service which they've still not actually experienced or know much about...

Very few here have grasped that boxing is only one of many sports available on DAZN. Understandable given this is a boxing forum, but even so I think some are overly negative possibly because of an antipathy to Eddie Hearn?

That's a pity because it could be very positive for boxing. For instance, it's likely that DAZN are financing these US shows to help them get into the US market but they'll also leverage them in their other territories, because they'll hold the worldwide rights. Which is going to give them a ready audience in Canada, Japan, Italy, Germany etc. They can also look to bring fighters from those territories as well as Hearn's UK stable. If it works, then there will be new opportunities for boxing fans to see up and coming fighters from across the world in fights that would never have taken place otherwise.
