This is the 3rd time I see Margarito fight and it solidifies what I was wondering all along - why the fukk would anyone think he has a chance in hell lagainst PBF? Margarito has no jab, very slow in loading his punches and can only fight close, losing his only advantage over PBF. As to Williams, the guy throws millions of mosquito punches. If he meets a guy close to his size, like Forrest, he get beat period. I an't believe he hit Margarito with several hundreds of punches and Margarito looks untouched. 2 guys, nothing special. Both definitely has no KO power at 147. I think Williams rightfully won and I would rather see him at welter belt holder, I think he will posr more trouble to the other guys at 147 than Margarito.
that is what Im saying. Williams will cause the elite welterweight more problems then Tony ever would. Tony get in close and throw not only slow shots but they are WIDE. Williams at points in a fight needs to sit down and bang alittle. I think that Williams has power he just doesnt sit down and throw many power shots.
Love that term "mosquito punches", but it is true. He can't KO ****. He looked worse for wear at th end of the fight.
He normally looks like that. If that is what 1200 punches will do to me, I probably can take about 50000 of those before passing out.
mosquito punches! You know, I think Williams has good power to be honest. He throws alot of shots that are arm punches to keep you on the defensive and will sit down on a few every now and then. you dont stop 24 guys without having a little pop. He's a good hitter. Not a one punch ko guy. I'd just say decent pop.
Dude... you're deluded if you think neither of these guys has a chance against Mayweather. I agree on the comments regarding Williams, his ability to throw so many non-scoring punches should be in the Guiness Book of World Records. Margarito won this fight. Spent 6 rounds softening Williams body (obviously whilst Williams was attempting to shine his chin), and then beat him around the ring. Margarito has very heavy hands. He doesn't need to load up (ask Kermit Cintron who he destroyed, or Andrew 'Six-heads' Lewis). Dunno what fight you were watching, but if dancing impresses you I guess there's a future for boxing on ice. Out of interest... As it stands, if you want to see Mayweather get knocked out (it'll cost you) but go find Cintron and offer him a pound (or dollar) to do the job. You shouldn't need more than that pauperly sum to get him in the ring... you'll need to save all your money convincing FMJ to fight *him*. I've £1000 that says if they meet in the ring (can't see it - FMJ hand picks opponents) my money will go on Cintron to KO him.
On the evidence of that fight: PBF, Cotto, Hatton, Mosley = elite. Williams, Margarito = paper champs. I've never believed the Margo hype (that said, he was very, very impressive vs cintron), but I did buy into the Williams stuff. I just wasn't impressed, but maybe they just made each other look ropey.
Well yeah he isnt the best looking ddude. This content is protected But I see a big square block of blood brusing hiis skin on the left side of his forehead. A a small bruise on the right side of his head. Two small lacerations under both eyes, and the left eye in particular is propably completely blue today. But damn Margarito is an angry dude after the fight.
