look at the stevens fight. dirrell respected his power and ran a marathon. then take a look at the hanshaw fight Dirrell didn't respect his power and got caught a couple of times even stunned. same goes for Oganov he managed to tag direel once or twice. if both had real world class power they could of gotten him out of there. Froch being bigger stronger and longer ten most of Dirrell's last few oppnets will land more frequently and harder as he has more power and is just as big as Andre if not bigger. Andre has no respect for froch as you can tell. froch may talk a lot of **** but he's has respect for his opponets abilities.dirrel is going to be caught early an isay the fight ends before round 5. not because froch is on another level then Dirrell but because Dirrell will have to learn to respect your oppnets power especially one that has proven to carry his power through the fight.
why not? let him talk smack, raise his profile for the market he is in. He deserves much accolade for the fights and wins he achieved!
If that's the case then Dirrell is in for a bad night, Froch is very good at finishing opponents off once he has them hurt.
I don't agree with your conclusions. I think it's going to come down to Dirrell's lack of big fight experience. I recently made the analogy that beating the crap out of Froch is a bit like kicking a rabid pit bull. He's not going to back off, slow down, or get frustrated. Unless you can lay him out cold, you're just gonna **** him off. I don't think Dirrell is ready to handle that kind of tenacity. He won't know what to do when Froch just keeps coming. Froch by TKO round 10 or later.
i see your analogy. thing here is Dirrell has no respect for froch at all. he coming in to this fight and the dimension of distance he's not going to be used to . look at his most recent fights. he's been matched against samll or short SMW. forch is a big mother ****er and this will play into the fight Dirrell isn't going to try and run if thats the case then yes your 10th round prediction sounds good. i expect to see Dirrell go in there and try to get froch out early being inspired by the 3rd round knock down JT got of him . this will spell doom for Dirrell. this fight won't go more then 5. for sure. im standing behind it. oh yeah boo i got some bad news. from what i understand the final four in the tourney will be the first 4 fighters to sign long time contracts with SHow time since 2006. so i looks like KP and lucian won't get a shot at the winner unlees they roll with Showtime
Assuming Pavlik/Bute happens next year, it would be a travesty if the winner didn't get to fight the tourney winner. Showtime may simply not have the money to make a fight that big, and that would be terrible. Hopefully money won't get in the way.
Haven't seen a lot of Dirrell but from what I've heard and read he does seem to have the style to cause Froch problems.
well thye might just have to put in on SHOwtime PPV which they haven't done in a while or make a joint PPV depending on the demeand and Kp'd or Bute's Contract with HBO
Dirrell was never stunned in this fight. He got hit against the ropes, in what looked like a slip. And the other time he got his feet tangled and fell backwards, which was clear since Hanshaw hit him in the shoulder. Dirrell is gonna dominate Froch from bell to bell.
Regardless of how the fight turns out I truly believe at some point Dirrel will **** himself when he feels Frochs strength. Whether he can then keep it together and box to a win I don't know. Froch KO6
