Well, I know you've heard it all before, and some of you are probably sick of it. Guys from different eras matched with each other and only the imagination takes care of the rest. Let's make another list and analysis. This time between a mix of grates and not-so greats, yet made a good run on their careers. The criteria is that their style would produce tremendous action. For starters, let's just settle with some of today's fighters and by the last decade. Here's my list of fights that could probably been action packed it's a shame we didn't get to see it for the fighters were separated by age, weightclass, and even death. Though some can be probably made still. I hope. I haven't made a list for all weightclass, I just made it with those guys I knew could produce a great fight. Here we go: Cruiserweights: Mormeck vs. Jirov Both guys are physically strong and loves to break down opponents with unrelenting pressure. Who will wilt first? Lightheavyweights: Julian Letterlough vs. Glenn Johnson Mr. Ko vs. the road warrior. Johnson the better skills, Letterlough bigger punch. Both are tough and strong. Supermiddles: Jeff Lacy vs. Danny Green They don't have the most dazzling skills but they can punch. Lacy has his left, Green has his right. Who lands first? Middleweights: Pavlik-Tito Another one of those who lands first wins fight. Pavlik appears more durable, but Tito with superior firepower and experience. Jr. Middles: Campas vs. Mayorga It's a shame that Campas is remembered more for his defeats against Tito(hey he dropped Tito) Oscar, Jose Luis Lopez and Vargas. But his toughness and power especially to the body makes him a threat against anyone. Can Mayorga, who also possess the same brawler mentality prove himself a class above? Welters: Cotto vs. James Page Remember when James Page barely survived against Lopez? Well he may look vulnerable but he does possess some dynamite in his left hook. Cotto has the same killer hook. Who has the better one is the question. Jr. Welters: Ward vs. Hatton A bodypunching bonanza. Lightweights: Freaits vs. Gatti I know, Gatti lost all his fight at 135 and Freitas flourished, but hey, in reality Freitas isn't the same as he was at 135. Who knows how would popo react if Gatti gets hit by right hands and comes back for more. Would gatti's pressure get to him the way it did Chico? and JDiaz vs. JC Castillo Diaz the faster hands, Castillo the heavier ones. Both never takes a step backward. This could break punchstat records. Jr. lights: Pac vs. Gabe Ruelas Rueals was remembered to ba a beast back in mid-90's after beating the likes of James Leija among others. His tenacity rivals Pac's today. This would be a war. Jr. feather: Ayala vs. Ponce de leon Paulie peaked at 122 and was always an exciting fighter. Could he prevent himslef from brarwling with de leon who carries bombs in both hands? If not, could he stand up to those punches? Lastly jr. Bantam or flyweight: Jorge Arce vs. Danny Romero Romero a forgotten star a decade back. But he was probably on the hardest punchers ever seen on the loqwwer weights. Arce don't care and will tajke licks to land his own. A wonderful fight can be anticipated. If there are some fights which you also figured to provide great action and I missed it, kindly add it here.
