ye but kell and degale had hype brhind them, especially with sky degale was a gold medalist and had that aura bout him, if u know wht i mean (like tony has, the way he talked up the groves fight was good marketing) and kell had that ingle hype and his style is very fun to watch all be it against stiffs under ******.
ye but khan worked with warrn on a fight by fight basis from the barrera fight i think, dont know what he has to do with the subject though?
thats why u didnt see no legal ramling when khan left, i rememeber after the salita fihgt khan was like me n frank are gonna go to the states, ****** seemed reluctant, i think thats what prompted khan to jump ship,
point being? the promoters job is to build the hype to shift the tickets, franks old fashioned idea, is putting a cockney fighter in the ring with a polish glass jaw and hiring out the echo arena and scratching his head wondering why only a few hundread tickets have been sold and then forcing the fighter into throwing a sickie and cancelling the event. Hearn on the other hand, puts him in with a fellow british fighter, hires a venue in the fighters home town, gets the event in local press, get hype for the event in local media, fill the venue and get a local following for the fighter.
my point being is that they were probably ******s long term projects, i agree though he builds his fighter too slowly.
