2 of Calzaghe's top 3 wins have recently been exposed, one as shot, the other as massively overrated.

And so too has his resume been exposed. The ghost of RJJ was even able to expose Lacy before getting KTFO in 1 round by a retiree. :rofl

The nuthuggers are feeling the heat. :yep

Do you not have anything else to do? By the way it is "opportunist".

By the way, Joe C. has been retired for some time now, so give it a rest.

Considering I had Hopkins winning their fight, that leaves Kessler, Lacey, Jones and Reid as his best wins. Some say Reid won their fight, Lacey was always overrated and proved it later in his career and Kessler lost worse to a green Andre Ward than he did to Calzaghe. Jones was nothing more than a cash-in fight anyway, he's been shot for years, including when he lost to Calzaghe.

He also has some solid B level guys, but really, that's the long and short of Calzaghe's legacy.

Well, if you're going to do that, I can just as easily say "I had De La Hoya winning the fight against Floyd; he's clearly a bum". Come on, man, Calzaghe won that fight.

Difference is Andre is still young while Calzaghe got these guys in his so called best days...Ward has plenty of time to surpass Calzaghe...Yes as of now Kessler is the best win on Ward's resume but that means nothing because he's only 25 years old and he's miles, and miles ahead of schedule IMO.

Your only looking at the name fighters on there list. which one of Calzaghe's is like 40 years old. You also got to look at how much better the fighters in Floyd's division then there where in Calzaghe's. Gatti alone was better then what Lacy ever was. You also got Judah, Baldomir, Chavez.

I'm a fan of Ward and I understand what you're saying, but I do think it's a ridiculous double standard that Kessler is considered a "bum" by some when he's connected to Joe, but some of those same people use the Kessler win as justification for Ward being both the #1 SMW in the world and one of the top 10 P4P.

Cant argue that...I see your points but I will add this...I dont think Kessler is a bum...He's far from that, but to an extent...Kessler was vastly overrated...Now thats a differnce in being a bum and being overrated...IMO, I found a lot of Calzghe fans boosting Kessler stocks...with that being said, I think some fans took the word "bum " overboard when they talked about Kessler...Overrated would be the more correct word IMO.

I dont even bother listening to people who call Kessler a bum...Its quite pathetic.

Yeah, that makes sense. I don't deny that Kessler was probably overrated and possibly still is by some Calzaghe fans. I don't think I exaggerate Calzaghe's greatness like some, but the constant attempts to tear down his legacy is a little frustrating.

Those same Calzaghe fans ceased their legacy boosting efforts in overrating Kessler the moment Ward beat him.

    Now he's simply shot.
