I think every sane observer was anticipating the ref wouldn't let it go on... I hope that's what the corner was thinking, anyway. **** was getting dangerous.

Yes, Juanma is a warrior with a huge heart. I am not debating that. What I'm saying is that his corner should have been looking to protect JuanMa from himself. The shots he took and the punishment he would have received after the knockdown could have been life-threatening, at least in my opinion.
I agree, his corner is horrible and that will shorten his career even more. Given that fight was a championship fight, Id say it was stopped at the right moment. His corner shouldve been ready to jump in but they were not.
