This has nothing to do with Hatton.

Alfredo was very impressive this past weekened, and proved himself an elite level fighter. Beating the same Castillo that was arguably robbed against Mayweather, only at his natural weight, 147 pounds, Castillo doesn't need to weightdrain. So if anything this was a better version of Castillo to that beaten by Mayweather or the one that beat Diego Corrales (weight problems were highly publicised around that fight in particular).

All I can say is Joe Calzaghe's win over Gomez's conqueror Peter Manfredo Junior is looking ****ing impressive these days.

Why does everyone put up with this bollocks? If it was anyone else they'd be told to **** off to the general. There are more obvious British fighters with 'smoke and mirrors' on their record than Hatton.

I think there are rumblings of discontent on this thread though.

I have to agree with Betty on this one.

This blow to Hatton's legacy sees him plummet down my all time rankings. I have him just below Adrian Stone and just above Joe Calzaghe now.

Do you mean Betty Swollocks??, if so I totally agree with you, hes just doing it for an attention.

If he was having a go at a fighter from '' back in the day '', there would be plenty of people on here shooting him straight down but because its Hatton, they all think its '' cool ''.

People cant say either that I am just sticking up for Hatton because I backed up a few fighters on these forums.

Thing is lads....it's true!!! Damn True!!!!

all of what he said barring the body shot being powder puff is spot on. No arguments from me because i saw through the bollocks of that build back before that fight. No way was Castillo at p4p level when he fought him. He only got the nod against Ngoudjo because they already had the Hatton fight and they thought they could rob Ngoudjo and no one would give two shits about the nobody in Ngoudjo.

He was dire in that fight on the undercard of the Hatton-Urango. Castillo was a shell of the fighter he used to be and Hatton put his name on to his record. I can't give him credit for that win..he beat a shot fighter simple as.

So he waits for 3 years after the Hatton fight until Gomez beats JLC at welterweight because now he has some more "proof" of being right?:patsch

Of course Castillo was on the slide when he fought Hatton, but he wasn't shot and waiting for 3 years until he IS shot doesn't change that.

Fighters age and fighters get beat that boxing, but Betty will be back on here when Paulie gets beat, when Pac gets beat, when Mayweather....

 he stating the obvious but that's Betty for you, but end of the day it's fact what he says is spot on and it's annoyed me for a long time when Hatton's been given props for that win when in reality we all know he beat an old man...he ain't only fighter to do it but it's still not a great win imo.
