Rubbish you paddies get so patriotic you actually go blind to the facts ! .... Munroe would outwork Dunne and finish him late !

Dunne does not need Munroe, far from it. Look at how angry you are getting  Did I touch a nerve?

Why is Munroe going backwards, why doesn't he just go for Nishioka?? Oh right it's because he barely scrapped by Simone Maludrottu, that's why!

when did i say i rated dunne highly at all? dunne has a china chin and ive never been a great fan of his although saying that pitter patter munroe is utter shite imo.

are you really so naive to not realise that munroes showing on friday convinced maloney he was not ready for a world title shot, if he looked good he would have gone in next probably.

why would dunne need a guy that has almost no fans while bernard dunne is on primetime tv in ireland filling a 9000 seat arena? its about having a bit of class too, if maloney and munroe had of gone about looking for a fight in the proper way they may have got it who knows however peters will get dunne another few decent fights in the point and maybe a nice pay day in america around paddys day and retire whilst munroe defends his euro title in front of his family and friends in village halls before finally getting his ass handed to him in a world title fight, you better believe it!

Just telling you the facts Paddy ! .... This will be a good fight if its made ... and I hope it does as it will add a few more pounds to Munroes stock after he wins ...

So tell me where does Dunne go now if he doesnt take the Munroe fight ?

    agree with most of that...

Munroe was actually my favourite domestic-ish prospect until the Malludrottu fight because I was convinced the power would come but I saw no improvment at all. Although it was an exciting fight Munroe made it far too difficult for himself. He needs to be far more aggresive with his jab and actually look to knock the opponent out rather than grinding them down. He is a big fighter for his division, ripped and all he did in that fight was push Malludrottu to the ropes??? I think he needs to change his trainer.. at the moment he looks like he is running out of ideas.

Dunne isn't stupid enough to get pushed against ropes for 12 rounds, infact, he has excellent footwork and will make Munroe look ordinary unless he starts putting some snap behind his punches.

Just telling me the facts huh? The guy who gets his "facts" from Frank Maloney press releases?

Dunne will most likely move up to 126, he may go the EBU route or go for world title shot after maybe 2 or 3 fights.

Let's not kid ourselves here, Munroe is never going to fight for a world title, he has found his level & is now hoping that Dunne will fight him so he at least makes some decent money before he loses his title.

Munroes still inexperienced and even i know hes not ready for a shot at the big guns yet .... this was his first fight back from a 6 month layoff and against a tough opponent he put up a decent performance which he will improve on !
Surely even Dunne realises beating one of the top contenders for a world title shot will elivate him back onto the world stage ! .... and boxing isnt all about KO power . Munroes a tactical boxer and i admire his tactical fights aka Martinez in which he boxed supremely well on both occasions !
The Irish are a loyal bunch and will turn up to watch Dunne in there thousands to even fight against me , whereas england has alot of good level fighters and Munroes fan base is growing even though it will never be on the scale of Dunne .... not alot we can do about that !

Ok then let's wait & see, although I wouldn't be surprised if this fight never comes off. A move up for Dunne seems more likely but time will tell.

I doubt this will come off Dunne has looked dead at super bantam since the Walstad fight. The last time i thought he looked fit at the weight was Pickering. He looked a lot better vs Cordoba but still drained.

Would be a nice fight if it came off though.

It is a shame Dunne never became world champ, he got exposed at Euro level but had a good enough manager to fool fans into believing him to be a genuine world class champ.

    Munroe is not great either.

What's your problem? I know you have one, but I can't work out what it is.
