I have read alot of post about Floyd fearing Pac. My question is, does it means Pac fears Mosley?

Not anymore. Roach didn't want the Mosley fight before... Manny himself prob isn't afraid of anyone.

Pac and Mosley situation was a lose-lose for Pac. Pac fights Mosley, he ducked Cotto. Pac fought Cotto, he ducked Mosley. At least Pac fought the winner of Cotto-Mosley.

Pac-Mosley would turn into a better fight then Pac-Mayweather IMO. Because Pacquiao wouldn't be as defensive as Mayweather was and they would both be looking for war.

Maywather vs Pacquiao is the fight everyone wants to see, but it's not happpening because PBF fears Pac. It doesn't matter if Pac is scared of SSM, because nobody gives a **** about that fight.

Depends on who you talk to. Real boxing fans would tell you Mosley was a better opponent for Pac at the time. Cotto had barely escaped with a win over a C+ level fighter in Clottey. Mosley had just destroyed Margarito. Shane is considered a fighter who will stand and trade with anyone. That said, Pac-Shane was the ideal choice. The lose-lose logic can be applied to anyone, especially Mayweather. He fights Pac, it means he's avoiding Paul Williams. If he fights a great fighter not named Pac, he's still ducking Pac. It'll never end.

It could end. Mayweather comes back from vacation and fights Pac, the ducking ends. Paul Williams can wait.

The haters never mention this whenever they argue that Pac should've fought Mosley instead. :patsch:patsch

I'm not sure if Pac feared SSM, but, Roach seemed to. Cotto edged out SSM IN 2007 (far from a dominant performance) and was stopped brutally by Margarito, 1 fight removed from that. Even Roach didn't think Cotto was the same fighter after that beating, and he stated such. SSM, on the other hand, just came off a KO win against the fighter who destroyed Cotto.

SSM's had his ups and downs throughout career, but, he's an ATG fighter, and Roach respected that. He did not believe his fighter could compete with him at that time. That was more than obvious. Reportedly, prior to the Cotto fight, he ranked the 3 biggest challenges for Manny at WW, and he put SSM FIRST, Cotto second, Floyd he placed third.

Then there's him outright admitting that SSM was "too good", not even accepting the challenge at a C/W of 142 etc. IMO, SSM was a very tough style matchup for Pac, and IMO still is (despite the outcome w/ Floyd--styles make fights). Roach knew this; thus, he chose what he felt was the easier matchup, at the time, IMO.

I have said this exact same thing (Verbatim) in several threads. I just don't understand why Pac-Fans can't see through Roach's and Arum's Bull****!!!!

I like PAC but the bottom line is he duck mosley and roach made that obvious by saying Shane is too good. He could have said any thing else and it would have been easier to defend pac. And me personally would never say cotto is the harder fight

WTF kind of thinking is that? So by not fighting anyone and going on vacation, he's actually doing his reputation a favor? Besides people are ****ing screaming for Pac vs Mayweather...not May vs Williams.
