Another PBC special: Erislandy Lara v. Jan Zaveck

Well, personally I can't blame him choosing to unify his own division and becoming a ppv star instead. Criticise him for not wanting to fight Ward at full 168, by all means. But Lara? Please.

 

I'd like to see if Lit g will let Lara hit him in the face like he did Monroe.
Lara beats Golovkin by outboxing him. I think it will look like Lara-Angulo with Lara facing a couple knockdowns but the fight being stopped due to the state of Little G's face. :yep

 

Lara would have less chance than Lemieux, and I don't give Lemieux any chance. Other than the slim puncher's chance.

 

Comparing Lemieux to Lara is like comparing Briggs (except Briggs has the much better resume) to Jimmy Young.
Paul Williams would have beat the snot out of Lemieux.

Pretty disappointing fight for Lara, Zaveck isn't horrible he's just not anywhere Lara's level.

Lara's entire 2015 will consist of Delvin Rodriguez and Jan Zaveck. Maybe his entire 2016 will be against Joachim Alcine and Sechew Powell.

If he's going to keep fighting mismatches it woud be better if he fought more than twice a year.

Did you happen to notice the state of Angulo's face at the end of the bout? Think GiGi.
Lara may go down, but GiGi would get busted up. :yep

btw: Rodriquez has at least been in the ring with several A level opponents, where Little g has not.

 

For the record, I don't hate Golovkin. I just dislike his fans. :yep

 

If you disliked Ward fans, would you claim Quillin and Lee beat him?
