Another can't miss by A. Pollack, the preeminent boxing historian of the early heavyweight division of this generation ... many of Fitz's most memorial bouts came post Jeffries 1 and all are captured here in detail .. there is simply no better way to experience the era .. strongest recommendation .. https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Bob-Fit...qid=1771778235&sprefix=bob+fit,aps,158&sr=8-1
I could not agree more. The authors attention to detail is amazing. As you read about his life and fights you feel like you are there in the arena watching.

I really wish he would write a Sam Mcvey book next. I been waiting years for something. How can a fighter so popular such as Sam Mcvey have nothing wrote on him? I just don't get it.
I'm asking him time and again him ... these are heavy lifts , often thankless and certainly not lucrative for a successful attorney .. however hs work(s) and exceptional and he seems to have a formula down .. if he somehow choose to tie a Landford/Jeannette/McVea together it would be something .. he also works very closely with the greatest archivist on the planet who may contribute so keep fingers crossed ..
