    A win and a loss against conception and coming in off the back of three straight losses. Poor. They need to step it up. They must surely be able to get him in with small now after his recent crapness!

    by looks he'd been better as he was before...going around on undercards beating likes of Spitko. He doesn't seem to be stepping up at all with Goodwin Promotions other then fighting as main eventer...but same type opponents. I like to see him step up to middle and fight Spencers boy Kreshnik Qato if he can't get any opponents domestically at light middle.

    It's just a keep-busy fight. Max Maxwell was originally scheduled to face him.

    The annoying thing is that if they got El Maachi a decent trainer and promoter he would have the potential to do so much better.

    He has the ability, but not the opposition.

    Terrible is a strong word :lol:

    He has the potential to do well domestically at best, cant see him getting to Euro level as much as im a fan.

    Dee Mitchells a good kid!!! I used to spar him when he was an amateur at Chelmsley Wood!!

    He'd be a good prospect, but they struggle getting opposition to face him in Birmingham, and so he's had to resort to late notice jobs on the road. If you look at his losses, a few of them (including the last two) have been by a sinle point.

    Don't think he'll beat El Maachi though. Dee's been scheduled to fight Michael Lomax and George Hillyard recently. He's a competent operator

    The promoter told me on the BBC London show last night that Yass was not fighting - he had not had enough time in the gym. Also, an offer had been made to Tony Mundine!
    It's all on BBC iPlayer somewhere.

    Dee Mitchell is a competent opponent imo, seen him a few times.

    Like Maxwell he's gone from being a bit favoured in Birmingham to taking tough assignments "away from home". I know one of Jon Pegg's fighters got absolutely robbed up in Scotland recently think it could've been Mitchell's fight with Gary McMillan.

    That's a disgrace. Dee Mitchell trained for that fight, and trained hard. El Maachi will amount to nothing
