Another reason UFC is beating boxing (From a fan perspective)

Your both idiots...if you think some Russian dude who doesnt speak a damn bit of english is going to have the exact same requirements to get a UFC contract as a All American Iowa boy who drinks beer and talks about kicking ass.

 

my eyeballs..and the knowldege that America has 300 million people...brazil has 150 million...russia 200 million....asia (maybe asians are smaller..but about a billion of them who practice martial arts) and yet Americans make up at least 70 percent of the signed UFC fighter..do you really think that americans have 70 percent of the best fighters in the world? Hell, Russia has amazing wrestlers, sambo practers, Judo guys, boxing guys, and various other forms...yet they only have a few UFC guys...really?

 

So american company has americans in it? And we are idiots?

 

Do you think that Dana White has these guys taking SAT tests or something when he signs them? He cares about skills and ratings, not how adept one is with the English language. He's not hiring English teachers. He's hiring fighters.

 

Dana can only only offer a contract to those who make an offer. It's not his job to fly around the world begging foreigners to fight for the UFC.
