It was a good performance by Wlad for the type of opponent he was against. Like Steward said, Wladimir doesn't have the mindset to just go out there and blow ther other guy out in a round or two. I was just happy to see him let his hands go and pop off with some combos. I agree that he should have stepped back and let an uppercut or two fly, but in the fourth round he did seem to try it a little. The KO itself was a highlight reel worthy knockout. Hopefully next fight will be against a game opponent like Arreola and we can have a fight.
Clinching every 20th second against a man who is basicly a zombie is not exactly what i would call heroic
This **** fight was only for his 50 knockout Mormek was planned for this clown show Wlad is the bigges joke in the boxing history Include most klitschko fans
The Wlad haters are the biggest jokes on this website (well, maybe after the Brit-tards). He fights anyone and beats anyone. Nothing is good enough for the haters. Unlike with the Floyd haters, they can't name a single f*cking fighter Wlad has ducked, because he hasn't ducked anyone. In fact, they can't name a single fighter that could possibly beat Wlad, because they know no one currently fighting can. Yet they still hate. Strikes me as symptomatic of some repressed male-love urge that is going unfilled. Write Wlad a nice letter. Maybe he'll send you an autograph.
Erm - hasn't he been doing this no matter who the opponent was for the past 8 years? -And listen: when you are really tall and your arms are long, it's bad news for you to let your shorter opponent stand in the pocket and trade with you because his shorter arms have a much easier time finding you than vice versa at that distance. Ali had that very same problem with a guy like Frazier. For this reason, your job is to keep your opponent outside as much as possible and prevent him from working when he comes in. That's intelligent boxing and there's not a thing wrong with it. You just can't expect a 6 foot 8 guy to try to fight like Tyson - it would make no sense.
All that grabbing against a guy that wasn't even throwing punches makes Wlad look like he's afraid of everyone he fights. At least he closed the show with a brutal right hand and sent folks home with a good highlight KO.
