Another stupid new rule by the WBC!

Boxers can now only hold their belt and no other. So the dick head Jose Suliman who divided boxing up in the first place by splitting off from the original world boxing association has now ensured that boxing will remain permanently divided.

Yeah mate but let's face it, Golden Boy owns Riing magazine, they control it. It's just more corruption.

All sports probably have it to some extent, football certainly has it with FIFA but at least there isn't 4 governing bodies in foot ball preventing the best teams playing each other.

Yeah mate, I agree to some extent but it's just so annoying that these rodents have ruined the prestige of being a world champion.

It brings fans into boxing. I hope fans abandon the WBC belt now. The other organisations aren't just going to go away it will prevent unified division from ever happening.

TBH I find the IBO's system most respectable but I don't want to ackowledge it to be honest because it is just another joke having an extra belt come into the frame.

Yes it is new actually. So new it hasn't even been put into place yet actually and since I saw no other threads I made this.

Anyway, this really is a ****ing disgrace. I mean the "main 4" belts have always held their legitimacy because they recognized each other and only each other. With this in place now I don't know what will happen.

The simple fact is the other 4 belts will not just go away but at the same time it's hard to imagine the WBC just disappearing, so will the other organisations impose this rule as well? The best we could hope for in my opinion is for boxers to stop bothering about the WBC and for it have to either fold or join back up with the other 3 because as it stands this move is ensureing that there will always be doubt as to who the champion is in each division.
