Kind of a cool way to make a fantasy fight though. Ingo vs Williams would have been great to see.

Cleveland Williams reminds Johansson of Ed Sanders, the big American heavy Ingo faced in the 1952 Olympics. Many will
recall he was disqualified for not putting up a fight against Sanders. This was for Ingemar a humiliating disgrace and the memory of it still stings. Unfortunately for Ingo, Williams is better than Sanders and has awesome knockout power with both hands, especially his left. Nobody expects this fight to last 15 rounds and they're not disappointed. Williams begins Round 1 throwing hard jabs and left hooks while Johansson loads up his vaunted right hand and looks for the proper moment to unleash his Toonder and Lightning.

It would Richard. Battle of the punchers
I'd lean toward Williams but not with any strong conviction s, any thing could happen here.
It ain't going the distance tho. Lol

Fergy, Cleveland Williams broke Sonny Liston's nose in 1959 before being kayoed by the Big Ugly Bear but Ingo flattened no.1 contender Eddie Machen on Sept 14 1958 with the Bingo.

Certainly power in those guys fists, Richard.
It's one that I probably could change my mind over several times!

Oh no, another Cleveland Williams post.... (facepalm)..... Some of you folks on here talk like he was a real barnburner of a fighter.

I've seen far better fighters get a much lesser writeup on here.

You are right, seems like we gotten a rash of Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, and Fury write ups here including the never ending Tyson vs Ali or the dreaded Hagler vs Monzon. I get tired of the aforementioned ones too. Yawn.
