my pal joe just posted this recently. personally, seeing these names in the top ten just goes to show you how poor the division is nowadays. plus, i'd like to see vitali as #1, but that's just my opinion. The thought of Valuev /Holyfield, then if Valuev is victorious, possibly Valuev /Chagaev, again, makes me lose what little remaining interest I had in that title and its being passed back and forth. I assume the winner will then face Ruiz? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. THUD!
This seems to be the most probable future of the HWT division, Klitschko, Inc. controlling the IBO, WBO, WBC, and IBF; with the WBA being rotated through second-tier contenders with good promoters.
Just because there are a lot of non-American names in top 10 doesn't mean it is bad. Reminds me of a couple of years ago. I argued with an American friend and he said that Football (soccer to Americans) has a rather poor skill level. In his oppinion, it was not even comparable to American football or baseballin terms of level of competition. Some people (a lot it seems at times) are taking the "God's own land" very literally.
I really wish that a Klitshcko can grab that WBA HW belt. Its becoming about as credible as the WBF belt, its pathetic that they continually rate Ruiz and Valuev so highly. And giving Holyfield a shot? Dont get me started. Chagaev is good to be fair, but the guy is inactive and injury prone, and I dont think he will unify it with a Klitshcko this decade. Its just irritating when a belt goes rogue like that in a division. Particularly the HW division, it would be a lot nicer up there if a Klitshcko had it. At least then, a Undisputed Championship fight can be made if/when one of them is beat. Which, regardless of who it is, will be massive because it will be full HW unification with a brotherly revenge twist.
