    The shoulder roll is used to dodge punches not to get hit by them which is the case with Paris.

    Yo m, which meaningful active boxers are actually from/train out of michigan? It does seem to be doing quite well at the moment.

    Jonathan Banks got knocked out in a title fight by Adamek in 2009. Holds the NABF Heavyweight title right now

    Dominique Dolton is trained out of Kronk Gym. Might make contender status one day. Chief sparring partner for Miguel Cotto against Foreman.

    Lanardo Tyner fringe contender. Has wins over Antwone Smith and Vivian Harris. Losses to Lamont Peterson and Saul Alvarez.

    Jordan Shimmell. Number 1 US Amatuer Heavyweight at one point. Lost recently at the trials. Dont know if he'll turn pro. 56-15-0 as an amatuer.



    Thats all off the top of my head.


    i dont live in Michigan at the moment, so its hard to keep up with the local amatuer scene.

    Cheers, that's actually pretty good and surely compares well against most other states.

    Yeah banks was one I had my eye on for a bit but he seems to have gone scrub hunting since the adamek loss. Shame because he was due fight big mac instead but he took the bigger risk, lower reward fight. Hope he gets another big fight soon.

    What your thoughts on anthony dirrell? Something just don't seem right for me, can't put my finger on it tho.
