you think in 2002, calzaghe belonged in the same category as hakar, joppy, and robert allan?

do you know what kind of purse hopkins actually recieved for fighting hakar, joppy, allan?

do you place no emphasis at all on the fact that hopkins turned down a career high payday to fight calzaghe?

i like to think that if calzaghe turned down a career high payday to fight someone, that i would actually acknowledge a duck of some kind.

I have read plenty to say Calzaghe beat Byrd but nothing to say different. Source to say Calzaghe didnt beat Byrd

Can you highlight the bits in my post were I twisted any facts? Can you also highlight the parts that show me to be hurt?

Don't resort to trolling with me because you know well that I don't attack you in my posts.

The according to Bailey part was a swipe, when M Steward says so much.
The hurt parts come out with you saying you think Im a secret fan. Its not a secret, Im a big fan of Hopkins, but as said look at the whole picture rather than just hype

Oh I got it wrong then, I thought you was of the opinion that hopkins was not a natural middleweight. Sorry.

Why would I be hurt? I'm not even a hopkins fan. Your views on a potential size mismatch mean nothing to my views on a potential size equality.

Why do you dislike Hopkins so much? Are you mad because he accomplished more than your hero Joe Calzaghe?

An earlier post of mine, before you wrote this dribble
I dont know what you think Hopkins accomplished that is so much more than Calzaghe, other than winning a world title at an old age, other than that nothing. Hopkins resume isnt as good when you look at the fighters nd their natural fighting weights.
Hopkins hasnt got any wins as good as Eubank or undefeated Kessler. Calzaghe has those wins and Hopkins name to go with them :hi:

So let me ask you this than, where do you rank both Hopkins and Calzaghe on a p4p all time list?

I only like to comment on fighters i have watched as their careers happen. I dont like to truly comment on fighters like Ali, as his career was before I was watching boxing, so I couldnt give an all time P4P list with an honest opinion

I must say also the simple fact that tito and oscar were beltholders at the time of the fight negates any criticism imo.

The goal in boxing is unification. Regardless of situation.

ice man scully posted on this or another board that he'd asked byrd about that fight and byrd said they never fought. i believe it was scheduled but another fighter subbed for byrd and calzaghe defeated that fighter.

funny how you ask for a source that calzaghe didn't beat byrd. i can't find sources that calzaghe didn't beat tyson or ali either. as far as amateur careers, byrd was a silver medalist in the olympics & calzaghe was getting beat by michael smyth in wales.
