    Hey,

I made this little video with Derek Roche who's the 3 times British welterweight champion. He showing a slightly different way to use your jab.

He used to use this a lot, (Bruce Lee used to say something similar)

All that is is a screw jab. Nothing new. But thanks for the effort.

He never said it was something new, just different. Many people may not have seen that before.

It doesn't really work for most of my fights becuase the gloves we usually have to use (Top Ten) are round. But sometimes we have more rectangular gloves for fights and most sparring gloves are that shape and it works well to get right through the guard.

I really like proper screw shots, as in it properly upside down to the "normal" jab.

  6. Good contribution. Even if the boxers here already know the technique, hearing it from a veteren can rub off something useful.

I like this, more so as my left hook is thumb up stylee, or however its termed.

I watched the other vids yesterday also, i liked that jab/move/left hook manouvre though i would wonder at my power as my feet wouldnt be planted, correct ?

I didnt know of the corner move/trick... i was shown to grab them (ok...try to) and spin 180 and they are now in the corner.

    Cheers :good
