When I lift weights I find that I am better off when i lift when i am bored and doing nothing. Such as when i am home i will just pick up weights and start to do bicep curls, bench presses, military presses, neck shrugs and things of that nature (not just the four listed). I dont go by any routine. All i do is count sets and reps. I just dont have any daily routine to go by. I find that I see more results and progress that way rather then when i try and go by a routine. is anybody else like this? :think
You'll benefit much more from compound exercises. Nothing wrong with isolation if that's what you're going for, but sheer strength gains made by compound lifts are undeniable.
