the last time we seen pac lose was against the el terrible .. that night erik marched pacquiao down fought his fight .. forced him into the ropes and basically put out a "you're on my turf now buddy" style ass whoopin .. even going so far as to fight south paw the final round and go toe to toe with the typhoon .. since that night pac has gone undeafeated .. even dominateing morales twice in the process .. but that one night .. a magical night in hindsite .. seen a last hurrah of epic proportions .. how does what pacquiao has done since affect the outcome of his first fight with the mexican warrior ...

He's the guy that punched a teenage Manny in the crotch and Manny went down and cracked his head on the canvas and it was a knockout for Manny's opponent. It was bogus.

Morales is an ATG but that verison of Pacquiao to know is like a night and day difference. The difference in Pacquiao's balance, technique, right hand, body punching and more was evident in the rematch even more so in the 3rd bout and hes just continued to evolve IMO. Prime Morales last 5-6 rounds at most with current day Pacquiao p4p.

I hate to say it, but Jimmie's right. The current version of Pac is substantially better than the version who fought Morales when Pac was nothing more than a young up and comer.

Like saying Micheal Jordan being dominated early in his career by certain players at one time in his career means somehow that they are just as great as Jordan in his prime. Argument doesnt work. Was not a prime Pac or at the height of his greatness. Have Morales defeat this version of Pac, then you can say that means something. Just like the JMM losses. No way a prime JMM has a close fight ever again vs Pac of today. And if they both fought at 144, JMM might be killed in the ring. Fighters grow and reach their prime at some point. Pac is just reaching his. And none of those guys honestly stand a chance against him at this stage considering what hes doing in the ring and who he is beating.

Eric doesnt need Pac to cement his legacy. Morales created his own history of greatness, regardless of what Pac is doing.
