Another wrestler turns to MMA

Heard about this some time back. Bobby was training in MMA prior to getting his call at OVW. His not in the same class as a wrestler as Lesnar but he is an awesome physical specimen and does have solid wrestling credentials. How much impact he can make at such a late stage is doubtful.Taking into account he was also on a boat load of HGH and hormones and isnt a naturally large man like Lesnar and his lost another advantage already. Sounds more like to me he ran out of cash now that his left the WWE.

 

He seems like a fantastic athelte from watching him perform in the WWE but that doesnt mean he can strike and do submissions. I guess we will have to see I wonder how he looks off the roids ?

 

He wrestled at 177, he looks like hes added 100lbs or so.

 

Could be interesting.

 

I personally don't mind seeing the Lesnars & Lashleys giving mma a try...wrestlers aren't a problem to the sport as long as they don't bring all the WWE antics with them...

We already had enough fiascos with the likes of shamrock , ortiz etc...

 

Correct. Lashleys around the 260 270 mark now. But without his steroids im sure he`ll end up looking like Sean O`Haire.

 

Shamrock i guess was slightly extreme but it brings some flair to the sport.:yep

 

He's too thick and stiff to do much in MMA.

Phil Baroni practices MMA and he's too damned stiff.

 

Thats because Baroni is from team Hammerhouse. And we all know what there famous for. Isnt he fresh of his ban now? Prior to MMA he was an amateur bodybuilder who had considerable success.
