Look like a french dude will be the announcer for saturday, the guy who did the weigh in.

Old McDonald is pretty good, he's got great pre-show banter at the premier league snooker asking the ugly spuds like myself to move back a few rows so we don't scare the Sky viewers... I'd love to see the bloke from the BDO Russ Bray do it. The man has a voice like a rusty cement mixer but when he shouts 180 its class...

 

Burdis looks like he is from the future

 

I think McDonald is one of the best we haver over here.

Mark Burdis on the other hand continues to make every FW show appear amateurish with his announcing.

He can't read two words without having to refer to his cards, it sounds like his voice is about to break at any second, and he's recently developed the effect of fading out his last word by moving the mic away from his mouth while saying it, which is laughably bad.

 

Burdis just shouts out names no razzmatazz, listen to the way he announces the winner it's class lol

Burdis is awful. I do quite like McDonald, especially at the darts, but he does do the odd gaff. Paul aaarrgghh (smith) and forgot to say Tony Dodson mainly springs to mind, but def the best we have IMO

John McDonald is horrendous look at me announcer riding on hearns coat tails, what really pisses me off is that you can tell by his tone who wins the fight! If its an non match room fighter he is dour and depressed and if match room fighter wins he is buzzing his tits off.

To think he is good shows how badly anyone's standards have fallen

 

Yes hesthat bad he travels the world all year round and has done so for many years MC at many sporting events,**** job eh someones got to do it lol

I used to think Buffer was the best but now I prefer Lennon Jr. He creates more tension.
