Monshipur is done, pretty much I think - the wars have caught up to him. Then again, they say the great ones have one more great fight left in them - Monshipur is not a great fighter, but he's a warrior and sometimes warriors have one more war left inside them. If he can get Moreno where he lives it could get very interesting. Moreno looks like he has the goods though, and certianly should be favoured. The WBA strap is on the line. Anyone excited/interested in this one? Anyone got a pick or a breakdown?
Monshipour is past it and i never saw Moreno fight but heard hes a good fighter. that being said im picking Monshipour to pull this one out in a great fight. That would be a perfect ending for Monshipour's career, one of my favs of recent years never in a bad fight.
moreno is a pretty good fighter who is improving every time out. technically sound boxer. looked very good beaing sidorenko 2x
I wish this fight was being televised in the US. On paper, it looks like a FOTY candidate. Anyone know if there's a legal stream for this one? Anyway, I got Moreno by late TKO in a war.
I honsetly have never heard of these guys but I'll tune in if it is going to be as good as advertised.
I saw the Monshipour that fought the Thai fighter, and I'm sure that Mahyar's chin/punch resistance and reflexes would be severely diminished beause of it. It was a tough fight for him. The guy we will see fight tomorow may not be the same fighter.
That's the worry. And because of the type of fighter he is he only has to lose that top 2% to find trouble.
Moreno retains by a SPLIT decision. I missed it. Sounds like he outsped his man and kept composure under decent pressure. Anyone seen it?
