That bodyshot in the finishing sequence made me wince. Great placement. Cacace gave him the business, only gave Wood round 4 and a share of round 5.

I’m always reminded of Dominic Ingle’s pathetic towel waving in the Golovkin fight. Waving it like a Frenchman in a war. Pathetic. This was no nonsense from Davison, no swirling of the towel like a *****, decisive and accurate straight at the ref.

I’m a firm believer that trainers should practice towel throwing at the end of training. Ingle was truly pathetic that night and Brook ended up taking a few extra needless punches from Golovkin of all people.

 

Since Eggsgate and the birth of Eggie Hearn, Cacace has walked through the heavy handed Cordina and Leigh Wood who both suffered a serious decrease in power.

 

That popped into my mind straight away.

Buddy McGirt for Callum Smith against Beterbiev was a terrible one.

 

Anto is one of the best British boxers for a decade in my opinion.

I’m catching up, great performance from Cacace, but don’t agree with Adam Smith telling me that Leigh Wood is done

 

Fair play to Cacace as well, when Leigh turned his back you could tell he had no interest in trying to hit him again.

 

Adam Smith is just verbal diarrhoea. Apparently Liam Davies wasn’t trying for a KO in his fight as he wanted 12 rounds. Even Darren Barker picked him up on that one.

 

What, by chasing him and squaring up to him?

Congratulations to Cacace who has done so well recently. He seems a decent guy.

 

Don’t know if anyone picked up on it but Smith was talking about how a move to lightweight has potentially affected Cacace when the fight was at super feather. Even worse when he was talking about Wood moving up a weight from feather 30 seconds earlier.

Ranbling about how Wood trained at the Ingle gym about 10 years ago. Nobody cares.
