No card in Cardiff on June 15th now then. Have to say it's probably for the best as few in Wales have cottoned onto Selby yet. Asked Jamie Sanigar yesterday about the Cardiff show and he said Selby is now on the Haye undercard too but no opponent as yet. Decent opponent and undercard slot on this one may work out for the better for him.

As for Rees, as long as his Bronering didn't take too much out of him mentally or physically then he'll stop Crolla.

This is a bit of a mismatch disguised as a competitive fight. Rees to win with embarrassing ease....after 4 it lasts as long as Rees wants it to

I think your selling Crolla a bit short here, or maybe overrating Rees?
Crolla is domestic level, Rees is European. There's not a lot of difference but yeah Rees is the better fighter but he's struggled with arguably lesser fighters than Crolla in Murray and John Watson.

It's a good comeback fight for Rees, certainly no mismatch IMO.

Rees isn't THAT much better than Crolla in terms of skills and talent he's just far more solid and durable and hits harder. I like Crolla and think he's had a slightly rough ride partly of his own making and switching trainers and styles so often, he just looks very fragile and small at lightweight. Can't see anything other than a Rees stoppage after a competitive first few rounds with Crolla boxing well to a plan. Crolla inexplicably reminds me of Gareth Gates, every time he fights with his little baby face I almost want to jump in the ring and tell them to leave the poor stuttering boy alone!

 take a look at the problems john watson caused rees. He gave him hell. Then look how easy crolla beat watson. Styles make fights, if Crolla can get past 6 unscathed and then puts it on a 33 yr old rees to the body i believe he can win this fight by late stoppage, we all know Rees tires and Crolla is just the man to exploit that.

I remember when this fight nearly got announced on the undercard of khan mccloskey and the majority had crolla winning it.

Please tell me how Gavin Rees has improved so much since then to justify this 1 sided approach? Hes beat an overrated Derry Mathews and a UD over Andy Murray. All i will say is write Crolla off at your peril ;)

Tough fight - without a doubt, but certainly a winnable 1.

I agree with this, Crolla is talented but I believe hes a natural Super feather. Rees is short but very solid, hes very good at getting inside taller fighters and using his height to his advantage. It will be interesting to see how much the Broner fight has taken anything out of him though, it may be a much closer fight then people are predicting.
