Anthony Crolla wants Ricky Burns shot if he beats Gavin Rees.....

Yes I know Ricky wanted that big time

 

I know mate he got dropped of Prescott .With the Mitchell and Vazquez Prescott fights defintley looks winable to me for Burns .Not as easy a night as Mitchell a tough night but defintley winable .

 

Just the Mexicans Ricans and Cubans ( Vazquez Gonzalez and Abril ) 3 of the best nations in the sport they're all going to be hard tough dangerous fights .

 

Of course Crolla and Rees will want a shot at Burns,but like almost everybody else,Im glad its not happening.The only British boxer I could see earning a shot is Walsh.Had a good win over an admittedly faded Harrison.Maybe he could earn one,but hell have to go some.Be a lot more active,and step up the opposition.Derry has been a great scrapper,but for me Crolla struggled too much with him to ever line himself up for a world title fight.

 

Liam is a very good fighter but I always maintain he's a SFW Ricky would be far to big,fast and strong for him

 

Cheers.Just saying that out of the crop he's about the only one who looks like he could progress further.Could see him winning a European title,but maybe not getting as far as earning a world shot.Fought well against Harrison,who still looked strong.Like to see him busier.
