Yarde was relying on pot shotting and countering a pressure volume fighter who was closing the distance.

When you're on your backfoot that never works, moreso when the pressure coming your way takes away your foot/body positioning and creativity.

Yardes's best chance was to get his head down and jab his way in and pin Benavidez down and put him under heavy fire and pressure. Being cute and smart was always going to fail especially when you had no Plan B.

Beterbiev stops him. Way too much power and creativity IMO.

Beterbiev is probably juicing off his nut right now too (let's face it, they all are juiced) so he will come back as a savage next year.

Ok...got it back sooner than i thought. Woot! Great card. Happy to pay for this one as a PPV.

Would love to see Mason vs Noakes (i was sleepin' on this guy) 2.

Bam should fight Inoue in the next 2 years.

Haney is an argument for maybe "weight bullies" are shooting themselves in the foot.

Canelo did the right thing by swerving The Mexican Monster.

    I'll take Benavidez over Bivol.

Zurdo and slick don't belong in the same sentence. He is the fighter you think Benavidez. Slow, basic and sloppy. David heavy bags him.

that was his response when asked about canelo, and when bivol said he was going to rematch beve. if they are available, then they should be on the phone right now with davids promoter.

I used to think like that also until Bivol gave up the WBC belt to avoid the mandatory fight with Benavidez,Bivol it seems has seen something in Benavidez that worry’s him ! Let’s see if Beterbiev wants to take on Benavidez or if he also takes a page out of Bivol’s book !

its the goal posts set for greatness here. some fighters get a 10 yard goal post, others get a perpetually moving post.

Pedelo shamelessly ducked Benavidez at 168. Who was DB supposed to fight that he didnt at 168? Notice the Wranger didn't fight Morrel at 168 either. He just ducked every threat for the past 5 years, plus chin, plus judges, makes him hard to beat.

Zurdo was outclassed by Bivol. Benavidez would do the same thing except possibly stop him.

Although i favour Jai against Benavidez, Opetaia has stamina issues, and DB goes 12 rounds. It would be an interesting fight but I'm not certain about an easy destruction win for Jai.

What serious challenge? Bivol dropped his belt to not fight him, and Who knows where Beterbiev is. I don't see any of them wanting to fight David. I would have preferred him to fight both over Zurdo to be honest but it seems they don't want it.
