Plant looks like he's never showered in his life.

I mean, why would he try at this point? He has a nice house in a zero-income tax state, a hot wife, a baby on the way, and has earned well over 10 million dollars in his career. He can basically kick back for the rest of his life and never have to work again while living in relative luxury.

You don't know Plant. He's totally dedicated to boxing and always has been. He just doesn't care about money but Jordan has been running his finances for him. He's very laid back and introverted; doesn't mean he doesn't care.

I'm not say he's a bad fighter, I just don't think he is on the same level as Benavidez or Canelo. He just strikes me as a top contender that is well schooled but isn't on that elite level. Too me his strength is his defense which is the opposite of Benavidez strength. Maybe I am wrong and he pulls the upset. Against Cabelo he just seemed happy to be there.

Fair enough. His amateur record was 97-20 and won some tournaments. He's no Sugar Ray Leonard, but he's pretty good. He will absolutely need to defeat Benavidez tonight to rise up in people's eyes and in the rankings.

Prelims started. I gotta cook dinner for the wife and me. Simple meal tonight: steak and potatoes. Salad on the side.

If he beats Benavidez tonight I will gladly eat my words. Either way, I hope we are all treated to a good fight! The sport needs it after the Fury vs Uysk debacle.
