I would take Benavidez over all those fighters.

You have no idea at the amount of circus clowns there are out there on social media who have been and still are pushing these ridiculous narratives about Clenelo avoiding certain styles and certain fighters. I've been known to be somewhat of a critic of Clenelo at times but this notion that he's ducking and is terrified of Jermallo is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard and they're utterly convinced of it.

The new one is that Bivol was a ''cherrypick'' and that he took the easier option by facing him instead of Jermallo

Bivol would absolutely euthanize Jermallo and so would Clenelo

And Clenelo who is supposedly avoiding certain styles fought two of the slickest fighters in the game in BJS 2.0 and Plant and Jermallo isn't slick at all

Boxing is becoming very violent, I am afraid to watch now.

Benavidez is going to be tough to beat in this division. Unique attributes make him crazy tough to deal with. Can jab and beat you from outside, keeps the elbows tucked so even when you get inside is tough to hit clean, and can bust up shorter fighters up inside. Also has a good chin, stamina, and can pressure you all night if need be. I wonder what the ceiling is for him, cruiser? Love to see him move to 175 and fight someone closer to his size and attributes like Zurdo Ramirez. I think that he can fight in both divisions, that is if he can get worthy fights.

How many times has a fighter been hurt but the ref gives him another opportunity and they win? Many

Who knows the fighter better, the ref or the corner? So who knows better when to stop the fight?

No, I never asked the fight to be stopped after round 2. You're confusing me with someone else.

I've been posting on this site since 2002 and I can't recall ever reading any of your posts, nor havr I ever seen your name. I just happened to have read your comment tonight and I simply just gave you my humble opinion.

David Morrell has been running his mouth saying he's going to beat the crap out of Benavidez. That's a interesting match up because he's very talented, can punch, and similar to Benavidez when it comes to size and dimensions.

If I’m watching on TV and can clearly see a fighter is hurt, and clearly see that they are more hurt than at the time of the corner stoppage (that everyone complained about if you hadn’t noticed), why are you going on about how corners and refs are so great? They are under pressure in real time so decision making is often impaired, and you’re talking as if corners and refs are known for making the best decisions. You say you’ve been watching boxing since 2002 and this is what you come out with? Lololol

That just makes your weird outburst even more weird. I literally just said that the ref should have stopped it when he failed the ‘walk over there’ test. Do me a favour and block me/ignore my posts, you’re an unhinged weirdo.

True, it was a stupid corner stoppage and I wanted to see Lemieux out cold. If the ref lets a clearly hurt Lemieux continue it was lame for the corner to throw it as Lemieux was walking forwards. Both the ref and corner did a poor job in opposite directions.

I just woke up from a 6 year coma, and all I remember is a lot of people saying that Canelo would never, ever have the balls to face GGG.

    Did I miss anything?

So basically he's unbeatable at 168, correct? No need to waste time fighting Alvarez, Plant, Charlo & Andrade.

Time for him to move up & fight Bivol, Smith & Beterbiev.

Kind of a tough call because Lemieux was still punching with enough force to win. I didn't like that whole thing about how he was gonna stop it but the round ended.

What a weird explanation, if it needed to be stopped it needed to be stopped.

It's funny to think it wasn't so long ago that a rising Jermall looked like he could be a huge problem for Canelo, now it feels like he could be a straightforward rebuilding opponent.

Morrell vs Benavidez is one of my top fights to make in all of boxing, but DB just looks increasingly disinterested and listless and I'm guessing he will go down the personal life toilet before this one gets made.
