I gotta say Benavidez showed a pretty good defense against Morrell. A very underrated skill where he’s actually harder to hit than you expect.

 

Yeah he's got good defense to go along with his great offense.

 

I thought the difference in the fight was obviously ,,experience. Is it me or do these Cuban fighters all peak as amateurs? I bet a little on Morrell because he's an underdog , and I'm not sold on Benavidez at 175.

I tend to agree with you but I think either fight would be quite entertaining.

 

David Morrell’s stock hasn’t dropped. He showed plenty of heart and toughness against a beast like Benavidez. He’ll be back and look forward to seeing him again.
