    Round 1 Romero 10-9

Cruz charging forward winging shots, Romero is very mobile bouncing around the ring on the tips of his toes, most of Cruz's shots are landing on the back of Romero. Romero countering with sharp one twos, jabs and rights.

    Round 1 Romero 10-9
    Round 2 Romero 10-9

Isaac takes down Romero, then a few seconds later Romero takes down Cruz. Cruz still being careless, eating sharp counters, and waking into uppercuts.Romero doing his best orthodox Maravilla Martinez impression, bouncing around the ring landing snappy one twos and check left hooks as he darts out of the side door.

    Round 1 Romero 10-9
    Round 2 Romero 10-9
    Round 3 Romero 10-9

Romero giving him none stop lateral movement, Cruz lunging running and whipping looping hooks, he lands on square on the cup of Romero, he's taking some time, that seemed like a delayed reaction. Romero back to moving and evading shots. Isaac almost finding a home for his looping overhands, but he's missing slightly. Romero still peppering him with one twos, and moving. Cruz trying his damnedest to cut off the ring, but Romero too fleet footed.

    Round 2 Romero 10-9
    Round 3 Romero 10-9
    Round 4 Cruz 10-9

Romero's output has dropped off, Cruz starting to land with regularity. Landing hooks to the body and a few up top. Romero still doing well, but looks to be gassing a little. Headclash late. Romero gets the worst of it.

    Round 3 Romero 10-9
    Round 4 Cruz 10-9
    Round 5 Cruz 10-9

Roero lands a one two, Cruz counters with a looping hook on his way out of the door, then Romero holds, rinse and repeat throughout the round. Cruz landed the more telling shots.

    Round 4 Cruz 10-9
    Round 5 Cruz 10-9
    Round 6 Romero 10-8

Cruz lands hook, Romero grabs him, so Isaac tees off on his ass and lands about four vicious right hooks to the left ass cheek. Cruz lands several heavy left hooks, Romero taking them well. Another vicious left hook to the nuts from Cruz, he gets docked a point. Romero taking his time. ROmero plays stay away the rest of the round, landing one twos to the bell, most of Cruz's hooks are landing on his back or forearms. Almost a 9-9 though.

    Round 7 Cruz 10-9

Romero very passive this round, doing his best to spoil his way through it. Cruz not giving him a second to breath. Romero doubling over or holding, Cruz working him over in close.

Cruz marching forward walks into a vicious uppercut, he seems unfazed. He walks him down the rest of the round, lending well time looping left hooks to the head and body. He's finding a rhythm now. Romero having some success, landing counters, and might've nicked it with volume.

They trade uppercuts early. Romero landed a few eye catching shoeshine flurries. But Cruz's no stop pressure and wild looping hooks take the round for him, he seemed to rock him a time or two late with looping rights.

Probably the dominant Cruz round of the fight; Romero not defending as well, Cruz landing bombs, but Romero taking them flush rather well.

One sided round from Cruz, landing wicked looping rights to the temple and chin of Romero, Romero's chin is incredible. Cruz actually jabong now while walking him down, it's about damn time.

Damn close round, with Romero landing more, but the heaver blows being landed by Cruz. It could go either way. But I think the hooks that flew Romero's head were more effective.
