I was a fan of Groves before he fought Froch, but I said after the first Froch fight that a loss can have a massive impact on a fighter and made a thread about it, between the fights, and sure enough Groves wasnt as aggressive as in the first fight, because even though the first fight was contraversial, these things tend to often have a psychological affect (not saying it actually had an affect on Groves), and Groves was more cautious in the rematch and didnt go all out. I am not sure that Anthony will have a long reign, unless he stays in America, and stays away from the European level. I felt his fight with Bika was very close and that the referee being quick to break the action suited Anthony more than Bika. I think with a ref that allowed a bit more mauling before breaking the action, could have produced a different result, but we will never know. As for Groves/Anthony Dirrell, I think if it were to happen next for both, Groves would possibly be too fresh off the Froch loss
I predicted Groves would be more psychologically damaged from the first fight than Froch and fight more cautiously, knowing he was on the verge of being KO'd, even if it was a tad bit premature. Now can you imagine how much emotional damage he's carrying around with him after the second one.
Groves would probably beat Anthony Dirrell, convincingly as well but I don't see him beating his much more talented brother Andre.
Hopefully David Haye tags along with Groves if they fight and sparks out the annoying ****(s) in Dirrell's entourage who keeps doing all that barking like a dog nonsense.
Groves will get knocked out quicker by Dirrell than he did by Froch. As a matter of fact Froch's ass would be in serious trouble.
